Meal Planning - Nutritional Support

While exercise is important for achieving and maintaining a healthy body, it is only a part of the equation. What we use to fuel our bodies needs to be considered in the weight loss equation. Just as a personal trainer creates a roadmap for your fitness destination, a nutrition consultation can make certain that your food choices are healthy and supporting your lifestyle.
If you struggle with putting together meals for yourself and your family, you may want to consider meeting with Susan. With her Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology, she has coursework and experience in meal planning for special and normal populations. Often, it is as simple as keeping a food journal for a week and reviewing how current habits are supporting or sabotaging a healthy lifestyle. You will work with Susan on meal plans that work with your schedule, lifestyle, budget and likes/dislikes. You will also work on recognizing what “triggers” mindless eating and creating an alternate plan to combat those vulnerable moments.
Ultimately, the goal is to have a client eating to live versus living to eat. We seek to find balance and live with moderation, not deprivation.
